Service Provision
Utilinked provides business energy consultancy and brokerage services, including electricity and gas procurement, contract negotiation, and ongoing account management. We also offer card processing services with transparent pricing and comprehensive support.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information about their energy consumption, business requirements, and financial status. You agree to cooperate with our assessment process and provide necessary documentation for energy supplier applications.
Service Scope
Our services include market analysis, supplier negotiations, contract management, and ongoing support. We act as your authorized representative in dealings with energy suppliers, subject to the terms outlined in our service agreement.
Commission Structure
Our services are typically paid through commissions from energy suppliers when you sign a new contract. This commission is already factored into wholesale energy pricing and does not increase your energy costs.
Additional Services
Some specialized services may incur additional charges, which will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before commencement. All pricing is transparent and disclosed upfront.
Card Processing Fees
Card processing services are charged at competitive rates starting from 0.6% with no monthly terminal rental or authorization fees. Detailed pricing schedules are provided during the application process.
Service Standards
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, in accordance with industry best practices. While we strive to secure the best available rates, we cannot guarantee specific savings amounts due to market variables.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the commission earned from your energy contract. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Professional Indemnity
We maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance to protect our clients. Details of our insurance coverage are available upon request.
Agreement Duration
Our service agreement typically remains in effect for the duration of your energy contract. Specific terms and notice periods are outlined in your individual service agreement.
Termination Rights
Either party may terminate the agreement with appropriate notice as specified in the service agreement. Termination does not affect existing energy contracts or committed commission payments.
Contract Variations
Any changes to our terms and conditions will be communicated in advance. Continued use of our services following notification constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
Regulatory Compliance
Utilinked operates in compliance with all relevant UK regulations including FCA requirements for payment services and energy market regulations. We are committed to fair dealing and transparent business practices.
